I have ordered two dresses from there. I would read the comments... they were incredibly helpful. Most people state their own measurements, what size they ordered, and how it fit. I think they have stuff from lots of designers, so you may be one size in one dress, and two sizes larger or smaller in another. I ended up ordering mine based on the size info in the comments and they both fit perfectly.
I agree with the previous commenter. Check the reviews as far as sizing goes. As for quality I haven't ordered from them myself. I have heard they are a little lower quality, but better than say the disposable clothing of forever 21.noguiltfashion.blogspot.com
Since the site doesn't just sell one brand, the sizing and quality really differs. Like with Lulus. If you read the description and pay close attention to what it's made of, you'll be fine. Plus, the size chart is unique for each item, which is nice.
I've been eyeing that same dress. Let us know if you order it and how you feel about that pretty pink and blue number!
i think that dress might be perfect for a shower in 2 weeks that will be poolside! i just ordered it and another ... we'll see how the fit is. i think we might be similar builds. i always worry about those things being too short! i did find a coupon code online for 10% savings ... enter "modpals" at checkout!
I've shopped from ModCloth before and have been relatively happy with them - but the sizing varies based on the outfit..it's not consistent with their clothes. Also, they tend to jack up the prices on a lot of their clothes - see my post on a particular dress: http://www.charlestongirlblog.com/2010/07/seeing-double.htmlI have a hard time buying from them at times knowing that they sell the same stuff as Forever21, Lulus, etc. but for way more... I feel like you're paying a lot for what you get. Try Lulus.com if you haven't already - great stuff with great prices. One of my faves.
I can't wait to see what people say. I love their clothes, but have never ordered anything.
I've ordered from them. They run REALLY REALLY small.
stall scribbles appreciated!
