out-n-about

Pretty much obsessed with the Swirled Azita Tunic from Anthro...

Also pretty obsessed with the lighting in this very smoky rugby bar in Fort Worth... Usually, one can only dream of such fantastic fluorescent track fixtures whilst enjoying $6 pitchers of Miller Lite with a gaggle of men in stripey shirts and tiny net shorts.

And while we're obsessing, a Big Gracias to Ann Taylor for the inception of the Perfect Platform Pump in patent... beautifully made, heart-breakingly high, and both price and comfort are on the "decent" side (as far as 4 inch stilettos go, obvs).  And yes, that would have made me a whopping 6'1'' on Saturday night... thank goodness for tall husbands!

Lastly... an Oldy but a Goody... a sherbet colored car coat in cotton chino... an Old Navy Cheapie from 6 years ago:

Swirled Azita Tunic - Anthropologie
"Always Skinny" Jeans - GAP
Perfect Platform Patent Pumps - Ann Taylor
Cotton Chino Car Coat - Old Navy
Ivory & Gold Statement Earrings - Amrita Singh via RLL
Gold Medallion Necklace - wedding present
Ivory & Gold Bangle - Banana Republic

  2. I love it- especially the ON coat on top. It matches perfectly. Funny how that happens sometimes, hm?

And ohhh, those Ann Taylor pumps. I want to mash my face into them, 'cept I think it'd kind of hurt. Not that I'm, uh, speaking from experience or anything.

    *coughs*

    :(

  4. That top looks fabulous on you. I must say, I'm jealous. I tried it on and the sleeves looked like wings on me. Sad. Love the shoes - I think AT has some great, comfy basic heels.

  10. Sadly, my husband isn't tall enough for me to wear those shoes. Le sigh...

  11. You've inspired me to get back into tunics. We stopped speaking a while back and I'm still not sure why, but I'll be keeping my eye out for one or two pretties for the spring season.

Oh! I also got the Anthro bustier and it's Darling. Wore it yesterday under a mustard-colored boyfriend cardigan, silver belt, and dark skinnies. Felt sexy for the first time in a while. :)
