After my jeans debacle last week ("BUT IT WAS IN THE EMPLOYEE MANUAL!!!"), I attempted to redeem myself with my Friday Attire. I still sported Lazy Hair and flats, but threw on a dress and cardigan to appease the Wardrobe Police (even though I'm the only attorney in the office today - I don't need Bad Employee JuJu!). Of course I forgot to take full-length shots before I left, but here's the best I could do with the Sbux bathroom!
Teal Ruffle Neck Cotton Dress - Nordstrom (exact brand unknown)
Black Boyfriend Cardigan - White + Warren
Metallic Gunmetal "Lissie" Flats - Tory Burch
Gold & Amethyst Feather Earrings - Kendra Scott
Gold Medallion Necklace - gift
Magenta Skinny Belt - The Limited

Cute. I'm always inspired by the way you put colors together. I'm such a matchy person.
ReplyDeletelissie question: I bought both pairs (satin black and gunmetal). I can't decide which to keep. they are still sitting in boxes all by their lonesome. it's quite sad. i think i like the black better ... the rhinestones show up better. but i think the gunmetal will wear better. do you have experience with satin shoes? problem: in this pic your rhinestones are showing up really well. what is a girl to do? to further complicate things i want to wear them tonight. shoot. under the gun.
ReplyDeletelove that dress! so cute
ReplyDeleteLove your hair like that! I (think) I have very similar hair to yours; what product did you use? Sorry if you've covered this before!
ReplyDeleteI still can't believe no one told you not to dress casual if that's what it said in the HANDBOOK. Sheesh.
ReplyDeleteI do really love the ruffles on this dress.
Hey look! I see your wedding rings! :P
ReplyDeleteCute outfit. I love how your casual Friday is the equivalent of the dressiest I've been in months. Gawd, this makes me miss mortgages and my cubeffice. :(
Ok ok - if this is "lazy hair" you are SO LUCKY! It's gorgeous and you look fab - I wish my "lazy hair" looked like yours, but for some odd reason mine looks like a sketchy bun with a frizz problem :::cries::: No fair! :)
ReplyDeleteYou look really superb. No duh.
ReplyDeleteyou look so pretty w/ your "lazy hair"!!
