tippy-toe through the tulips

I love tulip skirts... For a while there, I resisted the trend, thinking that the style wouldn't fare well with curvy hips... but then I discovered the flatteringness (not a real word) of the high-waist / slight-pouf combo!

I'm all Banana-ed Out today... shoes, skirt, shell... all from the Republic of Nanners.  And my shoes jingle-jangle when I walk... tra la la!

  1. CUTE outfit! I love tulip skirts too, but I am never sure how to wear them. I know it sounds so simple, but every time I try to build an outfit I end up changing! I have a black one- any tips or examples?

  2. I have this skirt and have never thought to pair it with a bright color... hmm... now my mind is going over all sorts of new combos!

    Thanks for the inspiration!

  3. I also am a big fan of tulip skirts, very cute!

  4. Super flattering, you're right! I'm not ready to make the tulip leap myself - maybe after I lose a few pounds.

  5. So excited to have stumbled upon your blog(s)! Love your fashion sense and love the way you write even more! You are so clever! I'm dying to know if the pics at the top of the blog are your closet!? If so, I need to see more pics ASAP! :) I am obsessed with cool closets...they display the best art possible - clothes, shoes, and bags!! Again, love your blog...I am now an addict!

  6. I love tulip skirts! They make your waist look so small! And yours girl is so tiny! Another great outfit. Do you ever get it wrong??

  7. 上來打聲招呼,祝你一切平安!........................................
